When I think of Thailand the first thing that pops into my mind is the cuisine. The flavors are complex and every step is important when making traditional Thai dishes. Recipes passed on from generation to generation. Grandmothers teaching there granddaughters to taste, smell each dish to make it perfect. It’s all about the soul that is put into each dish with every bite you can taste it.
At Thaindia, in Las Cruces is the place for experiencing that soulful experience. Bun the chef makes all of her dishes from scratch, fresh ingredients and a lot of soul. I am a fan of curry and tried the Panang Chicken Curry. The taste of the fresh vegetables, the touch of cream, and Thai spices are harmonious. The flavors burst in my mouth with every bite that I took. I am in love. Thaindia also offer Indian dishes as well which make an amazing flavor match.
I got to talk with the owners Arif and Bun and their love for their food is a beautiful thing. They use all organic ingredients, no MSG, and no soy sauce either. They take pride in all of their dishes and each one is a show piece. There food is full of flavor but not spicy at all. You can have Bon make it spicy for you if you like more heat.
I am so happy that I found our Thai Restaurant in Las Cruces the search is over my husband and I. We might go there everyday, so maybe I will see you there.
If you haven’t been to Thaindia yet you need to make your way over there. Tell them that Paige sent you.
